Objective

Every player has the chance to see a total of 7 cards, 2 personal cards (hidden from the view of other players) and 5 community cards (cards the whole table can see). The objective of the game is to make a 5-card hand using any 5 of the 7 total cards that is better than the other players’ best 5-card hands. If at the end of the game your 5-card hand beats all the other hands at the table you win.

How to sit at the table

After selecting the game, table and stake level you wish to play, pressing the “go to table” button will open a new window that will display the table. If there is an open seat you can press the open seat location and sit down.

You will then be asked how many chips you would like to bring to the table. Enter the amount you want or bring your whole bankroll. You can enter any amount you want as long at it meets the table minimum and is not greater that the table maximum (in pot limit and no limit games there is a maximum amount of chips you are allowed to bring to the table).

How to get into the game

After you have successfully sat down and got some chips to play with you will want to get into the game. At the next available opportunity (usually at the beginning of the next hand) you will be offered to join.

Any time you join a table you will have to post the big blind (mandatory ante) to enter the game. This blind will go towards your opening betting. You have the option to sit out until the big blind comes to your spot. If you do that you will not have to post the big blind twice in the first round. Once you post your blind you are in the game!
